Overton South Neighborhood Association (OSNA) is a voluntary neighborhood group that was formed in 2008. Geographically, the borders of the OSNA are IH-20 on the North, Hulen St. on the West, and Grandbury Rd on the East.
The OSNA was primarily created so our homeowners could have a way to come together and make sure to have a coordinated response to issues raised by the oil and gas leasing process.
The OSNA continues to monitor the gas drilling activity around our neighborhood. OSNA is a
member and actively sup- ports the SWFG Alliance which is regularly up- dated on drilling starts and environmental matters. The response by the residents has been overwhelmingly positive. Getting to know our neighbors is helping all of us to build a stronger community.
OSNA IS NOT a Home Owners Association! Membership is completely voluntary and is extended to renters and businesses as well as homeowners. OSNA encourages members to learn more and volunteer with Neighborhood Citizens On Patrol, Code Blue, Traffic, Social, and Block Captains Committees.
Our quarterly newsletter and website keeps us well-informed with crime updates from Neighborhood Police Officer Phil Woodard, news from the City of Fort Worth and the Fort Worth League of Neighborhoods. Our new “Neighbor to Neighbor” section of the newsletter/website offers member and business ad placement and publishes any other neighborhood information that would be of interest.
